Helping Refugees Expand Their World of Possibilities | Livvy Su
Today I’m joined by Livvy Su the Program Coordinator for EMBARC.
Livvy was born and raised in South Korea. She came to Iowa in 2010 after getting married to an Iowan, and now has two daughters who were both born in Iowa. She feels that Iowa is her second home.
EMBARC’s mission is striving to help refugees expand their world of possibilities through advocacy, education and community development throughout Iowa. As Iowa’s first refugee-led social service organization, EMBARC offers support and resources for refugees in need.
Livvy’s role at EMBARC is to support the team with public relations, advocacy, and member development and training.
